Singapore Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Mount Laurel NJ
This is a restaurant the alphageek has been stopping by for years, and is simply one of the joys of traveling for work. Through various jobs and assignments, Singapore has been a constant steady rock in the face of change. Singapore offers outstanding sushi, pure and simple.
With a lead in like that, you might think there is not much else to say and you would be right. Singapore fits the usual alphageek mold, an unassuming restaurant in a less than prime location that just seems to get things right. This restaurant was uncovered almost ten years ago in a simple google maps search. While Singapore was selected the first time because of the location near the hotel, the great sushi kept us coming back. Yes, coworkers like this place as well and Singapore has become a regular stop.
You will find the standard mix of sushi items on the menu. It seems like they are all printed at the same place? In addition, they offer some of their own creative rolls that change from time to time at the restaurant, but don’t appear on the online menu. While there are other items on the menu, the alphageek always just gets sushi because messing with a good thing is usually a mistake. Co-workers have ordered and enjoyed the other dishes, so there are those micro reviews as well.
So stop reading this review, and check them out. It is not the largest of restaurants at maybe seating for 25, so keep that in mind. However, they do a lot of take out, so calling in your order is another alternative. Don’t forget to enjoy. Check out the pictures below for that great visual effect.
